What it does
RascoFX gives a local fireworks business an online storefront for showcasing its products. Visitors can browse a catalog of 30-plus products, filter by categories such as Mortars, Cakes, Big Bores, Roman Candles, Rockets, and Salutes, and open product detail pages with descriptions, images, and demonstration videos.
The site also provides featured product picks and a contact form for customer inquiries, so the catalog supports both product discovery and a direct path to the business.
How it works
The React and Vite frontend uses Tailwind CSS for the dark, pink-accented visual system and React Router DOM for client-side navigation between the homepage, product catalog, detail pages, and contact experience. Product imagery is handled through Cloudinary, YouTube embeds provide demonstrations, and Formspree handles inquiry submissions.
The interface includes category filtering, responsive layouts, a mobile navigation menu, scroll restoration between routes, and graceful fallbacks when product imagery is unavailable. The project also includes a fireworks hero effect and virtual business-card routes built with fireworks-js and QRCode React.
Where it stands
RascoFX is a shipped freelance project delivered for a local fireworks business. The live site is available for customers to browse the catalog and submit inquiries. No usage, sales, or conversion metrics are published here.
